About Bill Jorns
Retiring in 1996, after 30 years a university instructor, administrator, and counselor, Bill Jorns drove toward the setting sun and photographed it. Thus began a second career as an outdoor photographer.
Over the years, Bill has worked hard to capture the natural beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Through his pictures of landscapes, wildlife, and waterfalls, he has developed a reputation and a large following eager for his photographs.
Bill has traveled extensively since his retirement. He has visited 32 states and several Canadian provinces to take pictures of landscapes, wildlife, and his specialty – waterfalls. In his travels, he has visited and photographed sites and scenes in more than 100 national, provincial, state, and local parks, monuments, and historic sites, while racking-up more than 100,000 miles in the process. |
